The pearl Of Africa has various contrasts with the smallest sunbirds, shimmering in the dawn light, the enormous clumsy yet silent elephant, disappearing like a vapor behind the trees, the chimpanzees rolling about the forest canopy, the lugubrious gorilla, grinding thoughtfully in the bamboo thicket.
